Gnarly Tree is actually almost entirely tan with small dark red accents. The teapot assumes the shape of a section of a tree. It is quite realistic. The handle, spout, and finial form branches of the tree. The texture of the teapot varies because the tree is rendered in such detail. Two dark red squirrels are clever and surprising touches.
