This lovely teapot is a deep gray-brown with raised tan specks. The shape of the teapot is oval, with a base that is slightly broader than the top. The lid, in keeping with the overall design, is also oval. Graceful lines cut into the clay extend from the shoulder of the teapot to the bottom. The finial is unusual--a band clasped by a ring detailed with lines that have been etched into the clay. Simply delightful!
